The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is requiring all 2016 Forms 300A to be electronically submitted by December 15, 2017. Forms 300A track occupational illnesses and injuries. This should be done through OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application.
Required to comply
Organizations required to electronically submit their data are those required to comply with OSHA’s recordkeeping requirements:
- Organizations with 250 or more employees
- Organizations in certain industries with 20-249 employees
However, companies in California, Maryland, Minnesota, South Carolina, Utah, Washington or Wyoming are not yet required to submit their data electronically (see OSHA State Plans for the latest information).
