The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) declined to challenge two appeals court decisions striking down its poster requirement.
The NLRB had proposed a requirement that all employers, union and non-union, must post employee union organizing rights. The board did not appeal the rulings to the Supreme Court by the Jan. 2, 2014, deadline. Employers are no longer required to post the NLRB poster entitled “Employee Rights Under the National Labor Relations Act.”.
