HR Knowledge has developed an all-in-one poster customized by state that includes current state and federal regulations for your organization. This includes revisions to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations, which was recently updated on March 8, 2013.
Compliance Obligations
If you conduct business in Massachusetts with at least one employee, you are required by law to post a variety of Federal and State labor law posters in your workplace. With the all in-one poster that HR Knowledge provides, employers of all sizes will be covered for their employment posting requirements. Posting these employment law posters educates your employees of their labor and employment rights and provides them with a better understanding of their requirements.
HR Knowledge recommends as a best practice that employers post revised or newly required labor law notices to be in compliance with the applicable state or federal labor laws. Failure to post required federal and state labor law notices may result in both federal and state fines.
Where the Posters Should Be Displayed
These posters should be displayed a conspicuous location such as an employee lounge, lunch/break room, conference room, reception area or at time clock location – any central location employees are likely to visit often. If your organization conducts business in multiple locations then each workplace should contain its own posters.
