The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandates that all employers who are required to maintain the OSHA 300 Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses post a summary (Form 300A) of the previous year’s log by February 1. You must post the summary in a conspicuous place where notices to employees are customarily posted, even if no incidents occurred in the preceding calendar year. You must keep the form on display until April 30.
The annual summary compiles information recorded during the previous calendar year. The Form 300A Summary posted from February 1 to April 30, 2015, must include the total number of job-related injuries and illnesses recorded on the OSHA 300 Log from January 1, 2014, to December 31, 2014.
